为了迎庆电视广播（澳洲）有限公司成立十周年，本年度的新秀大赛将会是更振奋人心的一场赛事。获奖者能赢得比往年更丰富的奖品，同时将成为墨尔本赛区的代表，参加全球华人新秀大赛决赛。

Dear Singers,


After a fierce competition in CMG Idol, here is your chance to participate in another greater event, organized by TVBA, 2010 International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship (Melbourne Region).
This year the Championship is going to be bigger to celebrate the 10th year of TVB in Melbourne. The winners will receive fabulous prizes, and a chance to represent Melbourne in the 2010 International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship (Final).
To convene you, you can apply NOW via CMG during our table duty, with an application fee of $30. CMG will hold a 1st ROUND Night, exclusively for students of the University of Melbourne. As the 1st ROUNDS will terminate by the end of the month, we can only accept a number of 20 applicants. I urge you to come and get the spot before it is taken. Please find the following details for the 1st Round Night:

#Contestants will need to provide a passport photo.

Audition and callback venues are all at the University of Melbourne, Parkville campus and will be confirmed through email.

=== What to prepare? ===

• Singing two unaccompanied songs
- This is compulsory you want to sing or act in the musical
- ONE song in Mandarin (in any kind of style) and ONE song from any Musical/Broadway production (in any language)
- Only need to prepare one minute for each song

• A solo dance piece
- This is compulsory if you want to dance in the musical
- Please bring CD with you. We will provide CD player

• Auditions for singing, acting and dancing parts will be separated in each session

• Each session will run for about 60 minutes in small groups

=== Requirements? ===

Everyone is welcome! Fluency in Mandarin is essential, but no acting experience is required.
