CMG sports teams for inter-clubs sports day

Hello everyone!!!

We are invited to join the Melbourne University Inter-Nations’ Sports Competition (by MUHKSA) and we need members to join and play for the CMG teams!

We need teams/participants for:

- Soccer
- Basketball
- Athletics
- Mini Games (Tug of war, 2 people 3 feet, Handstand, Wheelbarrow, Carrying game, Dodge ball, Volleyball)


Soccer:
- a team of max 10 people (mixed)
- for every female member on the team HALF a point is awarded for each goal the maximum award is 4 points (SO female participants is highly encouraged!)

Basketball:
- a team of men and a team of women(or mixed)
- 5-10 players in each team (players in men team can join the mixed team)

*We also need 2-3 judges for soccer and basketball!

Athletics:
- Fast runners for Sprinting 100m (2 male, 2 female)
- 400m relay (a team of 4 male, a team of 4 female and a team of 2 male and 2 female)
- a team of 5 people for Gymcarna (run in 5 minutes for the furthest distance!)
- you can run for individual, relay and gymcarna!

Mini-games:
- a team of 10 people for TUG OF WAR
- a team of 2 male, a team of 2 female and a team of 1 male 1 female for 2 PEOPLE 3 FEET
- HANDSTAND contest: anyone who can do handstand!
- 2 teams (2 people per team) for WHEELBARROW competition (one person will stand and hold the other person's legs to cross the finish line)
- Piggy back/ CARRYING GAME: any STRONG GUYS/GIRLS and any LIGHT GUYS/GIRLS!!!
- a team of 20 players and 2 sniper for DODGE BALL
- a team of female for VOLLEYBALL

Cost: around$5 per person (undecided yet)

Since this is an inter-clubs event, the overall winner(the club which gain the highest point) will get a trophy! Some individual prizes will be given out too!

Don't be shy to join/sign-up if you believe you are a great player(or even you are not.. oops :p) WE NEED YOU!!!♥

It is a great opportunity for members to get involved! We want every member to get a chance to have fun!

WELCOME Freshmen!

First of all, we would like to thank every member for joining CMG this year. To start off the year, we have a gathering for new members to mingle and socialise in Week 2! We will have free food and drinks for everyone and please feel free to bring your friends to the gathering. Next, we will have ice breaking games for all the members so that everyone will get a chance to get to know each other. Venue and time for the gathering to be confirmed later.
